I am so sad to hear of Mr. Collins' passing. A troubled student could not have asked for a more concerned, caring and genuine principal than Mr. Collins. I quit school and was working full time in a donut store. He came in and persuaded me to return to school. I did. Because of Mr. Collins, I went on to college, became a nurse, married (an attorney of all things) and had kids of my own. I had the good fortune, as an adult, to be able to tell him how important he was in my life. They say that there are 5 people you meet in your life that really make a difference and he was the 1st person on my list. I am so sorry for your loss and I am so grateful that you loaned him to all of us to mentor.
