Edward John Jachim's Obituary
Edward John Jachim of Moorestown passed away peacefully on Monday October 27th, 2014 at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of the late Anita (nee Kent), and is survived by his sister, Eileen Baniel, and many nieces and nephews.
A Bayonne native, Edward was a World War II Navy veteran receiving the American Campaign, Asiatic Pacific Campaign, and WWII Victory medals. He was a Seton Hall graduate, founder and owner of Spedco Inc., a manufacturer of industrial equipment, where he held a patent for a temperature and pressure test plug assembly, past president of the Mt. Holly Rotary Club and an avid golfer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Edward’s life celebration and visitation at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main St, on Wednesday, November 5th from 10:30-11:30am. A mass at noon will follow at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main St, Moorestown, and interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mount Holly.
