Edward C. Reed Jr.'s Obituary
Edward C. Reed, Jr., 60, went home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2017. He was born in Camden, a life-long resident of Cinnaminson and a 1974 graduate of Cinnaminson High School. Following high school, Ed attended both Burlington County College and Glassboro State College (Rowan University).
Ed worked as a mortgage banker for many years but his true joy was found playing tennis or table tennis. He loved coaching his boys in many sports but was most heavily involved in Cinnaminson Baseball. You could often find him at one of the local fields watching a game in his folding chair, working on one of the mounds, or helping his wife with concessions. For many years he was actively involved in his church whether teaching Sunday school or playing on the worship team. He enjoyed playing his guitar not just as part of worship teams at church but also bands, New Life and Still Waters.
Husband of 36 years to Sueann H. (nee Logar). Loving father of Douglas (Samantha) Reed, Donovan (Sarah) Reed, and Daniel Reed. Beloved son of Edward C. Reed, Sr. and the late Jean Reed. Grandfather of Charlotte, Graham, Benjamin, Levi and Asher. Godson to John and Gerri Biegun. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ed’s Life Celebration and viewing Thursday Eve 6-9 p.m. at Givnish’s of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street and Friday 9-11 a.m. at Calvary Church 317 Conrow Road Delran, NJ. His Memorial Service will begin at 11 a.m.
