Edwin J. Braciszewski's Obituary
Edwin J. Braciszewski passed away peacefully on May 31, 2023 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. Born in Philadelphia to Charles and Eva Braciszewski, Ed was 90 years old. He was a resident of Marlton and formerly lived in Pennsauken and South Philadelphia. Beloved husband of 68 years to Dolores T. (nee Michalski). Loving father of Michael (Pamela) Braciszewski, Edwin (Theresa) Braciszewski, Jr., Maureen (Michael) Wick, Dolores (Stanley) Peplowski, Christine (William) Campbell, Stephen Braciszewski, Richard Braciszewski, Glenn (Sarah) Braciszewski and John Braciszewski. Brother of Dorothy Wakefield, Patricia and the late Edward Richards, and the late Robert Braciszewski. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Edwin proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a retired carpenter and later worked in maintenance for St. Mary’s Home in Cherry Hill.
Ed enjoyed watching old time movies. He loved to garden (had a green thumb). He also loved sitting on the porch doing crossword puzzles, lottery tickets, and spending time at the casinos. Ed also loved getting together at family gatherings.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, June 9th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Givnish of Marlton 398 East Main Street. Ed’s funeral mass will follow 11 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton.
Burial, with Military Honors, will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Blackwood, NJ.
