Edwin J. Matczak's Obituary
Edwin J. Matczak passed away peacefully on March 30, 2016 at Cadbury of Cherry Hill with his wife at his side. Born in Philadelphia, Ed was 82 years old. He was a resident of Delran for 17 years and formerly of Palmyra for 35 years.
Ed proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He was employed as Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at Rohm & Haas, retiring in 1990 after 35 years of employment.
Ed was a model train enthusiast.
Beloved husband of 63 years to Edna (nee Rex) and loving father of Karen Ebley and her husband John.
Devoted grandfather of Christopher (Amanda), Dana and Lauren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ed’s life celebration and viewing Tuesday, April 5th, at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 4th and Linden Ave., Riverton, from 9:30 am – 10:50 am. His Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am.
Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions made to any Veteran's organization.
