Sincere belated condolences to Elaine’s family. I hope this photo will bring back memories of a simpler time. My brother Steve and I were part of the local Holmesburg pals that played until the street lights came on. Her older brothers Joey, Jimmy and Bobby played backyard basketball under the “spotlight” and often we got a chance to shoot a few hoops during the day! On school days homework required after school, if we finished early we would go over to the Carboni home and shimmy up the tree in the side yard and call out to see if they were ready to come out and play. Really nice memories of a nicer bygone time and thankfully my mom was an avid photographer who detailed her photos and thru my efforts to digitize her albums - this photo can be shared.
