Elaine W. Latimer's Obituary
Elaine W. Latimer (nee Watson) passed away peacefully on March 9, 2018 at PowerBack Rehabilitation Center, Moorestown, NJ. She was 91 years old.
Elaine was born September 19, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA
She was a resident of Riverton since 1999 and formerly of Cinnaminson, NJ. Loving mother of John A. (Kate) of Riverton and beloved Grandmom of John A. Jr., Timothy S. and Kristin A., also of Riverton. She is also survived by son, Bruce S. and grandchildren, Samantha E. and Michael B. Latimer of Florida and her niece and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, John (Jack) S. Latimer and her sisters, Edith, Betty, Mabel and Dorothy.
Elaine was very active with the Cinnaminson Home and served as President for many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, Indian Springs Questers, The Riverton Country Club Bridge team and her beloved book club. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially at the family beach house in Surf City. An avid Philadelphia sports fan, Elaine was thrilled to watch the Eagles win Super Bowl LII and experience a winning Phillies World Series game in 2008 with Jack.
Relatives and friends are invited to Elaine’s Memorial Service 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17th, at The First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown. Interment will be held privately for the family at 10 a.m. in the church cemetery, prior to the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, 101 Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown, NJ 08057.
