Elizabeth "Betsi" Tatem's Obituary
Elizabeth “Betsi” Tatem (nee Ryan), of Cinnaminson, passed away on December 29, 2017. She was 76 years old.
Betsi was the beloved wife of the late Charles “Charlie” E. Tatem. Loving mother of Timothy R. Tatem Sr. and Carrie E. Tatem Schur (Brett). Dear grandmother of Ashley R. (Brittany) and Timothy R. Jr. (Lori). Great grandmother of Gianna, Lily, Nick, and Oliver. Dear sister of Michael H. Ryan (Sarah Lou), and sister-in-law of Roger W. Tatem and Mary M. Tatem.
Betsi attended William & Mary College in Norfolk, VA, where she met Charlie. She was a bookkeeper with Woolworth in Philadelphia for over 20 years; a long time member of Epworth UMC and United Methodist Women.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Betsi’s life celebration visitation at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Friday, January 12th from 7 – 9 pm, and at Epworth United Methodist Church, 501 Morgan Ave., Palmyra, on Saturday January 13th from 10 – 11 am. Her service will begin at 11 am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to Epworth UMC, 501 Morgan Ave., Palmyra, NJ, 08065, or to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
