Elizabeth “Betty” A. Felthaus, 79, of Galloway, NJ, formerly from Port Richmond, PA, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021. Loving wife to the late John Felthaus for 13 years. Dear mother Joseph Cusick (the late Donna), Michael Cusick (Tracy), Brian Cusick, Elizabeth Salkowski (Edmund), and Mary Cusick (Jimmy Hagen). Stepfather the late John Felthaus III, Christopher Felthaus and Donna M. Felthaus Duhamel. Grandmother to Candace Cusick, the late Cassandra Cusick, Brittany Farrell, Jimmy Hagen Jr., Samantha Hagen, Edmund Salkowski Jr., Henry Salkowski, Amber Cusick. Great grandmother Julian, Abel, and Ava. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Betty was a graduate of the 1960 class of Little Flower Highschool for girls in Philadelphia. She studied management at the Community College of Philadelphia following high school. Betty was a hardworking, single mother of five children. She had 3 jobs to provide for her family. She will be remembered for her dedication and love of her children. Her first career was a Bell Telephone Operator. Through the years she worked for Smith, Kline & Beckman Pharmaceutical in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Pretzel Factory and Chateau Catering also in Philadelphia. She later retired from TD Bank in Delran, NJ. Betty could often be seen bowling, playing bocce ball, crafting, and crocheting.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, September 25th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 8:30am to 10:30am. Her funeral mass will follow at Church of the Holy Name, Resurrection Parish, 260 Conrow Rd., Delran, at 11:00am. Entombment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
