Elizabeth "Betty" E. Henderson's Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" E. Henderson, 87, formerly of Cinnaminson, NJ, peacefully passed away on September
20, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 7, 1936, to the late Adolf and
Louise Lemm. Betty was a devoted mother to Ed Lacovara (Alba), Jimmy Trent, Bobby Trent, Sherry
Marotta (Tom), Jeanie Henderson, Carol Henderson, the late Ronald Henderson Jr., and the late Delores Henderson. She was a loving grandmother to Jason, Jennifer, Nathan, Jared, Heather, Melanie, Christopher, Anthony, Jessica, Nick, Andrew, Christa, Nicole, Matthew, Amanda, and Cameron. Additionally, she cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Liam, Alana, Lincoln, Becca, Justin, Rosey, Liam, Kiara, Kylie, Tabitha, Anna, Logan and James.
Betty was also a dear sister to Emma Merola, Delores Rupert, and Richard Lemm, and the late Eleanor lemm. She leaves behind a lasting impact on many relatives and friends.
Betty's life was dedicated to caring for her eight children and many family members, a role she
embraced with love and devotion. She held a deep spiritual connection, attending church every Sunday
and frequently bringing neighbors and friends with her. Her greatest passion was dancing, and she
enthusiastically celebrated all holidays, adorning her home with festive decorations. Betty had a
fondness for dressing up and enjoying social gatherings. She took pleasure in leisurely bike rides through
the neighborhoods of Cinnaminson and had a wide circle of friends. Basketball was a childhood pastime
she cherished, and she had a special affinity for roses, which she received weekly from her family.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, September 25th, at Givnish of Cinnaminson,
located at 1200 Route 130 North, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Her funeral service will commence at
12:00 pm, followed by burial at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
