Elizabeth L. Marsh's Obituary
Elizabeth Louise Marsh of Whiting NJ passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 23, 2021 after a brief illness at the age of 71. Elizabeth was born in Audubon, NJ and lived in Southeast Florida for 47 years. Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents, Harry E. Marsh and Marian E. Fish, her brother Theodore J. Marsh and her companion of 20 years, Frank O’Conner. She’s survived by her brother Thomas E. Marsh, sister-in-law Kathleen G. Marsh, niece Erin K. Merrill, great nephew Nicholas R. Merrill and her very special friends Charles (Buddy) Bryan and Marianne Stoltz.
Elizabeth managed an insurance agency in Pompano Beach, Florida for over 25years. She is a survivor of the August 2, 1985 plane crash of Delta Flight 191 in Dallas, TX. For all of her adult life she travelled extensively throughout the US and Europe. She especially loved her many trips to Ireland with Frank. She enjoyed hosting family and friends at their large home in Fort Pierce, Florida. In later years she always looked forward to her Friday nights with Buddy.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Elizabeth’s life on Saturday, May 15th starting 12:30pm at Givnish Funeral Home, 1200 Route 130 N. Cinnaminson followed by friends and family sharing fond memories of Elizabeth at 1:30pm.
Following the service her ashes will be buried in the family plot in Westfield Friends Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elizabeth may be directed to Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Foundation, 23 Main Street, Suite D-1, Holmdel NJ 07733 or www.vnahg.org.
