Elizabeth A. Pennington's Obituary
Elizabeth “Betty” A. Pennington (née Donnelly) passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at the age of 76. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, Betty was the daughter of the late Francis and Madeleine Donnelly. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Bryan and Gregory Donnelly.

She started her career at Macmillan Publishing holding various positions for 24 years. She later became an X-ray technician at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro, from which she retired.
Above all, Betty cherished time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed many summers with family at their shore house in Long Beach Island. Betty treasured the close bond she shared with her siblings and loved traveling alongside her husband.
Betty was the beloved wife of William Pennington, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Amy (Andrew) Mercurio, Kimberly (Stephen) Damian, and Lisa (William) Gallagher, and a loving grandmother to Nora, Emalynn, Anna, William, Sienna, Luke, and Ava.
She is also survived by her siblings: Susan Brown; Diane (Austin) Herczeg; Mary (Tom) Donnelly; Kenneth (Dawn) Donnelly; and Jeffery Donnelly, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Betty’s warmth and spirit enriched the lives of those around her, and her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
