Eloise J. Flowers' Obituary
Eloise Johnson Flowers was born June 2, 1936 to the deceased Hampton and Susie Mae Johnson in Somerton, S.C.
Eloise fell asleep in death December 23, 2025 in Cooper Hospital, Camden, NJ.
Eloise was educated in the New York City school system, graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1954. Eloise was very elegant and fashionable, with a calming soul, and had a smile that could light up the entire room.
Eloise married the love of her life in 1957 in NYC, and was married for 68 years. Eloise moved to Plainfield, NJ in 1970, and devoted her life to Jehovah in the 1970s. she retired from NJ Bell/Verizon after 22 years of service, as a fraud investigator in Cranford, NJ. Eloise moved to Willingboro, NJ in 1997, where she enjoyed spending time with her Christian friends out in service.
When Eloise became ill, and not physically able to attend meetings, she was always happy to attend meetings on zoom. Eloise loved to entertain and feed her guests.
Eloise will be missed dearly by her loving and devoted husband, Warren; children, Janet Houston (Michael), Doreen Flowers, Brenda Council (Anthony), Shelwyn Ragin, Annie Maner (Donald); grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Daisy Flowers, Rena Beckham, Eunice Grant; brother-in-law Virgil King; sister cousin Betty Banner; a huge extended family of children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. A special mention to her adopted son, Ronald Owens Sr. (Carol), who preceded her in death, and the entire Owens family.
