Emily Grace Mangione's Obituary
Emmie…
Look how much God loves you
From the very start
He filled you up with so much love
It broke your little heart…
Emily Grace Mangione, of Marlton, NJ, skipped away to Heaven when Jesus took her hand with her mother by her side on October 6, 2022. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is with her Jesus, with a new heart and no pain, finally able to eat, and skipping and playing with her sisters Cammie and Katie and her service dog Lilly.
This earthly world was blessed with Emmie for a miraculous 22 years. Born in Seoul, South Korea, God sent her literally all the way across the world at 14 months old when He made His perfect match with her family.
Her family waiting to soon see her in Heaven are her constant sidekick mommy Kim, her siblings: coloring and dancing buddy Kira Mangione Barksdale (and fun brother-in-law Alex), hair braiding buddy Elena Mangione, puzzle partner Erica Mangione, and BFF Christian Mangione who made her smile bigger than anything. And she was so proud to be a new aunt to baby Noah Barksdale.
Despite what the doctors said, she happily and courageously battled through many medical setbacks and limitations, always with a smile on her face, and always thinking of those around her.
One of our favorite things about her was when she would say, “I love you” and we’d reply, “I love you too”, she would always come back with another “I love you too”.
Emmie was pure joy and innocence. She always made sure everyone else was ok, and if you were sad or upset, in no time there would be a beautifully drawn picture or card in front of you.
If you’ve ever met her, you’ve probably got at least 2 of her handmade bracelets. She always brought a collection along with her to the hospital or doctors visits to hand out to the staff. Her heart just exploded with joy and perfect love for everyone.
Friends are invited to gather at Givnish Funeral Home, 398 East Main Street Marlton, NJ, on Saturday October 15th. Visitation will begin at 2pm with services at 4pm.
Emmie's service will be livestreamed, and can be viewed using this link: https://www.viewlogies.net/givnish/kULFRq_fy?pin=294644
