Emma Jane Lodge's Obituary
Emma Jane Lodge (nee Jaggard), of Moorestown, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2015. She was 85 years old. She grew up in Collingswood, NJ, where she attended High School. She attended the New Jersey College for women then worked as a Medical Secretary. She raised her family in Pennsauken & later resided in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Emma Jane was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Lodge. Loving mother of Timothy Lodge (Maria) of Delran. Dear grandmother of Thomas, Daniel, Patrick, and Bryan Lodge. She was predeceased by her parents Russell H. and Catherine Jaggard and her brother Russell H. Jaggard, Jr.
Emma was very detailed oriented in all of her endeavors. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening & clipping out news articles of interest for others. Foremost, she loved to spend time with her family, sharing a meal or watching her grandson’s compete in sports.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Emma’s life celebration memorial gathering at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Saturday, August 1, from 10 am – 11 am. Her memorial service will begin at 11 am. Inurnment will follow in Shreves Cemetery, Route 73, Blue Anchor, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Emma’s name may be made Lutheran Social Ministries, 3 Manhattan Dr. Burlington, NJ 08016.
