Eric R. Haines' Obituary
Eric R. Haines passed away peacefully on February 14, 2023 at the age of 56 at his aunt’s home in Pennsauken surrounded by his loving family. Eric courageously battled cancer for the last 3 1/2 years.
Eric was predeceased by his sister Beverly Haines and his grandmother Marcella Beck. Eric is survived by his mother and father Joan and Ed, his devoted brother Edward Haines, his aunt Patricia Caldwell, his niece Beverly and many cousins.
Eric was born in Philadelphia on March 4, 1966 to Edward E. and Joan B. Haines of Cinnaminson and grew up in Cinnaminson. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 19 in Philadelphia as a sheet metal mechanic for 32 years.
He was an avid off-shore fisherman and enjoyed boating and fishing with his buddies in LBI, in particular with his best friend of 45 years, Michael Kohn. He loved his golden retriever, Lucy, affectionately known as "Moose" who was his constant companion. He also vacationed to many places with his friends.
The family will be planning a memorial service in the near future.
