Eric Christian Marrazzo's Obituary
With deepest sorrow, we announce Eric Christian Marrazzo, age 55 our beloved son, brother, family member, and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2020 while at the hospital.
Those who knew Eric, even just a little, knew him as a quiet, kind soul with a giving heart.
He was born in Riverside, NJ to the late John James Marrazzo, Sr. and Joan A. Guerrera (stepfather the late Tony Guerrera). He was a resident of Riverside for the last 23 years and formerly lived in Delran.
Eric was a 1983 graduate of Delran High School and for many years was a maintenance worker for the Delaware House in Westhampton, NJ. Eric enjoyed his time at the Delaware House and was well-liked by the staff and patients.
He was a big Philadelphia sports fan but his true passion was watching the Philadelphia Eagles. Eric also enjoyed spending time with his family, trips to the beach, eating his favorite dish grilled salmon, and listening to old-time rock and roll.
Eric is survived by his mother, Joan Guerrera, brother of John J. (Dorothy) Marrazzo, Jr., sisters Cindy Marrazzo and Danielle Marrazzo. He was the uncle of Jillian Bernd, Kristen Marrazzo, Jessica Marrazzo and Ryan Marrazzo. Eric was preceded in death by his father, John J. Marrazzo, Sr. He leaves behind many cousins, extended family and friends.
Eric will be forever loved and dearly missed.
Due to the current circumstances, a private service for Eric will be held this Thursday, May 21, 2020. Funeral services will be live-streamed for the public on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. www.givnish.com. A private interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Riverside will follow.
