I used to hang out with Ricky a lot in high school. I worked at Dominic’s sub shop by Concord High School. Ricky’s family lived right behind the store. He would always come bopping in for an iced tea and stay to chat. We became fast friends and spent many a night cruising around, looking for the action. We were pretty good at having fun!
I remember talking him into going camping with me. In hindsight, he was definitely a glamper, a motorhome kind of guy, far more than a tent camper.
I had a lot of good times and deep discussions with Ricky. I’m sorry to hear he passed so young. Rise well, dear one!
