Schaetzle Eric S. Schaetzle passed away suddenly on December 19 at the age of 22. Eric is the beloved son of Kurt and Teresa Schaetzle and loving brother to Jeffrey M. And Jason P. Schaetzle. Eric is also survived by many aunts, Read Obituary
I am a graduate instructor at WVU and had Eric as a student in my class. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. He was always a delight to have in class. I recently spoke with him at the Psychology Capstone Poster Session, where he presented his work with great pride and enthusiasm. My sincere condolences to your family.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Eric. I had Eric as a student in my psychology courses over the past three years and took pride in seeing him bloom as a student. Please know he made the most of his time at WVU and has made an impact on me as instructor that will last a lifetime. My deepest condolences.

I remember when my kids first met Eric and Jason, they were sitting across the street from each other in Philly throwing stones at each other. Who would have known that this would be the start of a great friendship between our families. Eric you have a magical smile that went along with your big heart and we are lucky that your were a part of our lives. Many happy memories will keep you in our hearts today and forever. Kurt, Terry, Jason & Jeff we are there for you guys always and especially through this diffult time.

Eric you were literally a brother to me. We been through so much together and no matter what we ended up laughing at the end of it. I can't believe your gone but every time I think about you I laugh like we always did. You were loved by so many and hated by absolutely no one. I'll never get over this but your in a better place now and I'll be here for your brothers especially Jason because you guys were best friends and loved eachother so much. Saturday is gonna be the worst day of my life but everyone will get through it together bud. Fly high Eric we all love you man
