I knew Ernie from Riverside HS and playing men's hardball with him on the Braves. A great guy, a friend to all and he always had something positive to say about everything, RIP Ernie, you made my life a better place by your being a part of it, I'll never forget you or the Braves Van!! Ernie's passing has left a deep and painful hole in our hearts. He was like one of our own kids. Today I lost a dear friend and treasured colleague. Ernie was one of the kindest and most dedicated people I have ever known. He demonstrated amazing patience when assisting colleagues and providers with limited technical skills, perseverance in problem solving, a thirst for knowledge, and dedication to our profession and to MLHS. He could always be counted on to see the humor in trying situations.
RIP Ernie Hamblin.
