Ethel P. Burton Purdy (nee Large), 98, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2019 with her family by her side. Loving wife to the late Harry Burton and the late Herbert Purdy. Dear mother to Harry Burton (Dorothy), Saundra (William), Linda Burton, and the late Lonnie Burton. Grandmother to Robert Burton (Lysa), Ken (Virginia), Dawn Gambrill (Harry), Karen Arntz (Jerry) and William McDowell Jr. (Monica). Great grandmother to William McDowell III, Gerald Arntz, Daniel McDowell, Catherine Arntz, Shannan McDowell, Jaclyn Burton, Katelyn Burton, Joshua Burton, Kristie Burton, Jacob Burton, Nathan Burton, Tyler Burton, Jordan Burton, Ryan Burton, Shawn Burton, Justin Gambrill, and Joel Gambrill. Sister to Elva Davidson (John), Nancy Salvitti (Nick) and the late Irene Piacentino.
A celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, May, 22nd at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 10:00am to 11:00am with a service beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
