Eugene DiAbundo's Obituary
Eugene L. DiAbundo, died peacefully with his family at his side on July 16, 2013 of Maple Shade, NJ. Gene was born April 8, 1950 and will always be remembered by his family and friends for his generous and fun loving nature. A lifelong resident of Maple Shade, he enjoyed fishing, hunting on the weekends, and was happiest aboard his boat, which was docked at the Bree-Zee-Lee Marina in Cape May. He was a skilled woodworker and could design and build furniture without any blueprint or instructions. Every year he planted, tended and harvested a large vegetable garden, and shared its bounty with many. Gene had a long career as a machinist at Edsamm in Maple Shade until it closed, and then at J&S Precision parts in Medford, NJ. Gene was predeceased by his father, Nicholas and his mother Luisa. He is survived by his sister Rosina Anthony (James): his nieces Michelle (Michael) and Lisa: and his great nieces Sarah, Rachel and Kayla. Relatives and Friends are invited to his Life Celebration Gathering at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 236 East Main St Maple Shade , NJ 08052 on Saturday from 10:00 ? 11:00 am followed by his Memorial Mass at 11:00 am Interment will be private. In Lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Vitas Hospice 521 Fellowship Rd Suite 110 Mt Laurel, NJ 08054
