Eugene Kasperowicz's Obituary
Eugene Kasperowicz of Cinnaminson passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 95.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Eugene was a graduate of Northeast High School and worked as a chemist for 44 years at Rohm and Haas in Bridesburg. In 1953 he began dating Theresa, the girl who lived around the corner. They married and moved to New Jersey, where they raised four children. Eugene was a parishioner of St. Casimir Church, Riverside, a member of the Holy Name Society, and a volunteer for the annual parish carnival. He loved history and always had a story or connection to make in a conversation, a trait he passed on to his children.
Predeceased by his daughter Christine Vogel, he is survived by his wife of 66 years, Theresa Kasperowicz (nee Pijanowska), sons David (Maria) and Philip Kasperowicz, daughter Donna Malinowski (William), and son-in-law Ronald Vogel. He is also survived by his granddaughter Anne Marie Vogel, grandsons David and Eric Kasperowicz, and Cole and Ryan Malinowski, and a loving extended family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Casimir Church, 502 New Jersey Avenue, Riverside. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mt. Holly. Friends may visit with the family Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at Givnish Funeral Home, 1200 Rt. 130 N, Cinnaminson. Facial coverings and social distance guidelines will be followed per state regulations. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Resurrection Parish, 260 Conrow Road, Delran, NJ 08075.
