Eugene Melnyk's Obituary
Eugene Melnyk passed away peacefully on October 8, 2012 at his residence. Eugene was a resident of Mt. Laurel and formerly a resident of Cinnaminson for 50 years. Born in Philadelphia, Eugene was 81 years old. He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the US Navy. Eugene was employed as a technical writer for RCA/GE in Moorestown for 30 years. Proud former member of the Pine Barons Barbershop Chorus. Beloved husband of 61 years to Marie A. (nee Masishin). Loving father of Deborah (Al) Shinn, Karen (Alan) Ferraro and Don (Michelle) Melnyk. Loving grandfather of Amy (David) Meenan, Thomas (Jamie) Shinn, Mark Ferraro, Kevin Melnyk and Dana Melnyk and great grandfather of Kayla & Alexis Meenan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Eugene?s Life Celebration and viewing Thursday Eve 7-9 p.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North (prayer service 7:30PM), and Friday 8:30-9:30 a.m. at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church 6740 N. 5th St. Phila., PA 19126. His Rite of Burial Service will follow at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church or The Michael J.
