Evelyn Lopez's Obituary
Evelyn Lopez, of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family.
Born on July 7, 1954, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Evelyn was the beloved daughter of Jesus Manuel Lopez and Pura Seda. She dedicated her life to caring for others through her work as a Home Health Aide, providing comfort and support to those in need.
Evelyn’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her loving children, Yanira Hernandez, Zulay Aguilar, and Edwin Delgado. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to six grandchildren: Adriana Colon, Anthony Hernandez, Lailany Aguilar, Angelina Delgado, Sarina Delgado, and Gabriella Delgado, and her great granddaughters Cleo Colon, Penelope Colon and Eliana Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Manuel Lopez, and her brother, Jesus M. Lopez Jr.
Known for her incredible cooking, Evelyn’s Puerto Rican and Spanish cuisine brought family and friends together, creating lasting memories around the table. She was a selfless and compassionate woman, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Evelyn’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the love, laughter, and wisdom she shared.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, February 28th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, 08077 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with her funeral services beginning at 3:00pm.
