Florence Louise Gedling's Obituary
Florence Louise “Floss” Gedling (nee Langdon), of Gloucester City, formerly of Westmont and Pennsauken, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2019. She was 76 years old. She was born in Camden, NJ to the late Arnold and Florence Langdon.
Floss was predeceased by her cherished son, Harry Gedling Jr. (Sharon). She was also the beloved mother of Maureen Tejada (Voris), Denise King (John), and Donna Mangiamele (Brent). Dear mother-in-law of Cheryl Gedling. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Gedling (Beth), Jonathan King (Brittny), Jason King (Jaime), Erica Gedling, Voris Tejada, Jr. (Lynnea), Jessica Drum (Christopher), Megara Gedling (Dennis), Ashley Cordero (Max), Justin King (Lindsay), Alexandra Welsh (Brian), Andrew Gedling (Elizabeth), Alyssa Gedling, and Amanda Gedling. Great grandmother of Tristan Garcia, Elijah Drum, Ezekiel Drum, Gabriel Garcia, Briella King, Scarlett King, Kingsley Drum, Reed Gedling, Harper King, Ethan Cobb, Bryah King, Rowyn Gedling, Avery Copeland, Haidley King, Kash Drum, Anastasia King, Silas Welsh, Mila Tejada, Jason King Jr., and soon to be baby King this coming March. Loving sister of Dorothy Langdon, Patricia Beringer (Ralph), and Margaret Starke (Frank).
Also survived by her lifetime love and father of her children, Harry Gedling Sr., and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss her tremendously.
Floss loved shopping at Walmart and Big Lots. She enjoyed Crossword Puzzles, Bingo, Pokeno, Scrabble, Left Center Right, and was very competitive when she played! She always made an effort to attend Sunday service at Marlton Assembly of God. She wouldn’t miss her reality shows, especially Married at First Sight, Dancing with the Stars, and Big Brother. She was a huge Buffalo Bills fan. Floss had a love for dining out, especially at Red Lobster and Texas Roadhouse. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and spending time with them. She made the best of life with what she could.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 2nd, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Marlton Assembly of God, 625 E. Main St., Marlton. A service will begin at 12 pm, followed by interment at Arlington Cemetery, 1620 Cove Rd., Pennsauken.
