France Carmody's Obituary
France Carmody (nee Fiocca) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 30,
2021 with her daughter by her side. Born in Philadelphia to Joseph and Marie Fiocca,
France was 81 years old. She was a resident of Palmyra, NJ and formerly of the Mayfair section of
Philadelphia. Beloved wife of 53 years to the late John P. Carmody. Loving mother of Donna M.
Carmody. Sister of Joseph J. Fiocca, and the late Virginia C. Perry
Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and friends
France was proud to be a registered nurse and worked over 50 years in the medical profession at many different hospitals and facilities throughout her career.
As per France’s wishes, Visitation of family and friends will be held Friday, July 9th, from 9am -11 am at SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Church 9230 Old Bustleton Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19115.
Her Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
