Frances Mary (Shields) Lawrence, 79, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014. Beloved wife of William J. Lawrence for 57 years and devoted mother of Susan Eitneir (Jim), Teri Niedermayer (Joe), Jeanne Lawrence, Bill Lawrence, Mike Lawrence (Janet), and Ed Lawrence (Natalie). Loving grandmother of Rachel, Rebecca, Sarah and Peter Eitnier; Laura, Jeff, Monica and Jenna Niedermayer; Johnathon and Cody Lawrence; and Katie and Kara Lawrence. Cherished sister of Ellen, Nancy, and the late Ed. Also survived by numerous cousins.
Fran led an active and fulfilling life. Over the years she enjoyed bowling, Bridge club, word games and puzzles, swimming, tennis and golf. She actively followed the interests and athletic careers of her children and grandchildren. Her engaging personality and wonderful sense of humor led to many lifelong friendships.
Friends and relatives are invited to Fran’s Life Celebration on Saturday, September 6th at Saint Charles Borromeo located on Branch Pike in Cinnaminson from 9-10:15 am, followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.Alz.org.
