Frances M. Murphy's Obituary
Frances M. “Fran” Murphy (nee Gribaudo) passed away peacefully on Sunday December 31, 2017 at the Masonic Village of Burlington. She was 87.
Born in Pennsauken, Fran and her husband, Jack, resided in Cinnaminson for 58 years until they moved to the Masonic Village early in 2015. They had been married for 66 years before Jack's passing in December of 2015. A devoted and loving mother, Fran also worked as an administrative assistant, both for her husband's heating and air conditioning company and, later, for other businesses. She enjoyed a wide range of interests and her family will also remember her for her keen sense of fashion. But most of all, Fran loved to sing. A trained operatic soprano, Fran sang with the Garden State Chorale for over 40 years. Until just recently, Fran continued to perform as a soloist at the Masonic Village. Her beautiful voice will be missed by all who knew her.
Fran was the beloved wife of the late Jack Murphy, loving mother of Jack Murphy, Jr. (the late Penny), Dennis Murphy (Alice), Kevin Murphy (Jacque) and Janice Murphy Griswold (Charlie); grandmother of Ryan, Jennifer, Ian, Sean and Michelle; sister of Louis Gribaudo, Jr.
