Mr Finnan was a wonderful teacher! He taught me 75/76 at JFK high in Willingboro, NJ. I had him for algebra 1 and he was so patient and kind! I wss never good at math, but he was the best! In my sophmore year, i had algebra 2 with a not so great teacher. I spent every lunch in Mr Finnan's room being tudored with some other kids! He explained everything and was a true TEACHER! I've thought about him often over the years! He gabe myself and other students so much! Thank you, Mr Finnan! This 60 year old grama remembers and honirs you! Rest in peace, kind sir!

I was reminiscing with my best friend from high school. We both agreed that Mr. Finnan was our favorite teacher ever. He was so intelligent, pleasant, and cheerful that math became our favorite subject. I enjoyed his wit and sense of humor so much that it became a part of me to this day, and I think of him often. Such a wonderful man.

Mr. Finnan was always kind to me, and I have fond memories of his and Mrs. Finnan visiting my home in Arlington, VA with Patrick and Shawn for some holiday cheer after they saw A Christmas Carol at Ford's Theater in Washington, DC. That was a very fun evening. I also have memories of Mr. Finnan picking Patrick and me up at this or that airport, or dropping Patrick off at this or that meet point for our many journeys between the Philadelphia area and Notre Dame. Rest in peace, Mr. Finnan, and God's speed. You and Mrs. Finnan created a wonderful family, and I am blessed to have Patrick, Shawn, Michael, Meghan, Collin, and Matthew in my life.
