Francis "Frank" J. Rowland Sr.'s Obituary
Francis J. “Frank” Rowland, Sr. passed away suddenly Monday, May 29, 2017 at his residence in Audubon, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, Frank was 70 years old. He was a resident of Audubon for the last 46 years.
Son of the late James and Jule Rowland. Beloved husband for 47 years to Margaret “Marge” (nee Schafer). Loving father of Francis (Michele) Rowland, Bridget Rowland and James (Carolyn) Rowland.
Cherished Pop to Anna, Seamus and Teagan.
Brother of Jacqueline (Jack) Rush and Mary (Buddy) Donahue.
Also surviving are many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Frank was a retired warehouse supervisor for Johnson & Johnson in Swedesboro, NJ.
Frank proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He was an avid Flyers fan and Ravens fan. He enjoyed crabbing down the shore and loved his time growing up in the old neighborhood “Swampoodle”. Frank especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frank’s Life Celebration and viewing Saturday 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 236 E. Main Street Maple Shade, NJ. His Funeral Mass will follow at 12 p.m.
Military Honors will follow at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Jersey Vietnam Veterans Association 275 Wilmer St. Glassboro, NJ 08028
