Frank Camilletti's Obituary
Frank Camilletti II (a.k.a. Frank A. Camilletti), 61, of Palmyra, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on April 13, 2019. Beloved husband of Joan Camilletti (nee Sobota), loving father of Frank E. Camilletti and Katie Drechsel (Kris), and adoring grandfather of Julianna Mae, Frank embodied the true definition of a blue-collared family man. For 35 years of his life, he served as a Sprinkler Fitter Foreman (until his retirement on October 1, 2017), as well as a devoted brother of Sprinkler Fitters’ Local Union No. 692 out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Frank also earned the distinct honor of Master Mason, becoming a brother of Covenant Lodge No. 161 of Free and Accepted Masons in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, and later proceeded to join the Shriners and inevitably became a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.
Although Frank had a sincere passion for his charitable/life’s work, he cherished his family more than anything. As an avid Philadelphia sports fan, he and his family loved the Phillies and Flyers and regularly enjoyed games from both the comforts of their home(s) as well as South Philadelphia. Frank also had an undying love and deep appreciation for music. He studied/played the saxophone throughout elementary/middle/high school, and, like his wife and children, was an avid concertgoer. He took an enormous amount of pride in coaching baseball and micro soccer, and, most importantly, being a grandfather. Like his family, he enjoyed the outdoors, often participating in such activities as fishing, swimming, golf, and grilling. Additionally, Frank was an amazing cook, often preparing incredible meals while entertaining guests in his home for various holidays and celebrations. One thing he was most fond of was traveling, and eventually wound up purchasing a timeshare in Oranjestad, Aruba at the Casa del Mar Beach Resort - his “Home by the Sea”.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, April 19, 2019 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Givnish Funeral Home of Cinnaminson (1200 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, New Jersey 08077) with a service to follow at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be sent to Asbury United Methodist Church (2492 Andover Road, Cinnaminson, New Jersey 08077).
