Frank C. Kozempel's Obituary
Frank C. Kozempel, a resident of Cinnaminson since 1962, passed away peacefully at his home on July 28, 2015. He was 86 years old.
Frank was the beloved husband of 52 years to the late Kathleen Marie Kozempel. Loving father of Rollin Kozempel of Maple Shade, and Marie Ferraro (Jay) of Townsend, DE. Dear grandfather of Christofer and Nicolas. Loving brother of Rebecca Hale.
Frank served for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force as a ground radar instructor. He worked for IBM for 35 years. He served on the church council at Bethany Lutheran in Palmyra for 6 years. Frank was an avid railroad historian that had countless photos and articles published in various aspects of railroad operations, facilities, and people. He had a lot of hobbies, including genealogy, model trains, and gardening. Frank and Kathleen did a lot of traveling around the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii. They also enjoyed their time visiting Bermuda, Canada, and Jamaica.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frank's life celebration at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Rte. 130 N., on Friday from 9:30 am - 11 am. His prayer service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's name may be made to Camp Haluwasa, 377 Ehrke Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
