I met Chief Lopinto in 1973 when I was assigned to the old 903rd MAW at McGuire AFB. He was a "Chief's Chief" and will always be remembered as a true military professional. Edward Kelly, Col., USAFR (Ret.)
Today we say good bye to one of our own who will be missed by many, both by those who knew him as a friend and as a boss.Today it will hurt that we lost a person who is a great figure head of the 514th. We need to look forward at the memories and good time we had during that time we spent with him. Chief Lopinto style and leadership will be forever missed.Rest forever in Peace CHIEF.

Frank and Mae became friends of mine only in the last few years through politics but I have grown to love both of them. No matter how bad Frank was feeling he always had a smile, kiss and hug for me. I will miss him terribly. My thoughts and prayers go to Mae and his family.
