Frederick Anthony Bounasissi's Obituary
Frederick Anthony Bounasissi, of Mount Laurel, passed away on May 27, 2020. Born in Cape May Court House, NJ, he was 56 years old.
Fred was the cherished father of Dominic, Vincent, and Gabrielle Bounasissi. Previous husband and dear friend of Stacey Bounasissi. Loving brother of Anthony Bounasis of Georgia and Diane Bounasis of Bensalem, PA. Fred was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Nicoletta Bounasis, and his siblings, Michael Bounasis and Joanne Bounasis, both of Wildwood, NJ.
Fred is also survived by a large extended family in the south jersey area, and many friends who will miss him tremedously.
Fred was a resident of New Jersey his whole life, primarily in the Mount Laurel and Marlton area. He was an accomplished sales and advertising management executive for most of his life with career highlights and awards at the Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News, and Philly.com, and recent ventures into real estate. With early roots in the city, Fred was a loyal sports enthusiast, with a particular passion for his Philadelphia Eagles, culminating in his participation in the Super Bowl parade with his children. A man of practicing Catholic faith, Fred was also an avid fan of travel and the beach, and a lover of all things dogs, sports cars, food and wine. But nothing could compare to the love of his children. Whether it was coaching his sons’ football teams, daddy/daughter dances, teaching his kids to swim, or just backyard BBQ’s, there was nothing he wouldn’t do with or for the love of his family. Fred was a man of many talents and interests but none more important than family first.
A Catholic mass and celebration of life memorial service will be held for Fred at a later date post COVID restrictions. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Freds honor a go fund me site to assist the family in final arrangements:
