Frederick Harris, Jr., of Delran, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on June 17, 2017. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Fred was 80 years old.
Fred was a United States Army Veteran. He graduated from Brooklyn College with an Associate degree in Engineering. He worked for ConEdison in New York City for 39 years.
Fred was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Jones) for 52 years. Loving father of Phyllis Smith and her husband Dino, Michelle Harris, Fred Harris III and his wife Tiffany, and Clair Grisson and her husband Jaybee. Dear Pop Pop of Brandon, Rachael, Jada, Sarah, and Jaylon. Loving brother of Richard Harris and his late wife Shirley, Sylvester Harris, Aaron Harris, Ida Harris, and Sheila Harris.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Fred’s visitation at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Tuesday, June 20th, from 9 am – 11 am. His service will begin at 11 am, followed by his burial in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred’s memory may be made to the Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
