Gabriel "Gaber" Mastrangelo's Obituary
Gabriel George Mastrangelo, affectionately known to his family as “Gaber”, “Gabe” to others who knew and loved him, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026. Born in Willingboro, NJ, he was 38 years old.
Gaber was predeceased by his beloved sister, Danielle M. Mastrangelo.
He was the cherished son of Gabriel Mastrangelo and Susan (nee Hathaway) Mastrangelo, and a proud and loving uncle to Carson Mobertz, who brought him endless joy. Gaber is also survived by his loving aunts and uncles: Julie Boucher; Nancy Hathaway Buono (Richard); Lisa Campbell (Mark); Lori Le (Tom); John Hathaway; John Azzatori (Jen); Jennifer Gordon (Matt); and Diane Mastrangelo (Steve). He will be deeply missed by his many cousins—who were more like brothers and sisters —Isabella, Olivia, Victoria, Richard, Lauren, Teresa, Alexis, Shane, Cameron, Kennedy, Colleen, Courtney, Chris, Tommy and Alyssa, as well as many extended family members and friends whose lives he touched in countless ways.
Gabe graduated from Holy Cross High School in Delran, NJ, where he was an avid wrester and where he formed lifelong friendships that he carried with him throughout his life. He treasured time spent with his many friends, attending live country music concerts in Wildwood, NJ, Memorial Day on LBI, vacationing and golfing or just hanging with his friends at Otts Tavern. Above all, he loved being surrounded by family— especially spending time with his niece Carson, his cousins, and the childhood friends who remained by his side through the years.
Gaber’s warm heart, easy smile, and deep love for his family and friends will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, on Tuesday evening March 3rd from 6 pm to 8 pm. His funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday March 4th at 11 am at the Church of St. Isaac Jogues, 349 Evesboro-Medford Road, Marlton NJ, followed by entombment in Lakeview Memorial Park Mausoleum, Route 130 N. in Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gaber’s memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, www.cff.org.
