Gale Altman's Obituary
Our precious mother, Gale Altman (nee Giovanetti), a longtime resident of Cinnaminson, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in New Jersey, to the late Samuel and Claire (nee Meredith) Giovanetti, she was 71years old.
Gale was the beloved wife of 47 years to Michael K. Altman. She was the loving mother of Keith Altman, Claire Jordan (A.J.), Gary Altman (DeAndré) and Molly Altman; cherished Grandmom of Jessabelle Altman, Vivian Jordan, Austin Jordan. Gale was the sister of Peggy Cooper (the late Raymond), Samuel (Patricia), Steve, and the late Barry Giovanetti (Kathy).
She met the love of her life in 1974, Michael K. Altman, in Layfette, Indiana and they wed in 1976. Gale devoted her life to being a fantastic wife and wonderful mother. As the foundation of the family, Gale was a skilled homemaker. She was an avid crocheter and filled her home with crafts, warmth, and kindness.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Sacred Heart Church, 4th Street and Linden Avenue, Riverton, NJ on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 10 am to 11 am. Her funeral Mass will begin at 11 am, followed by interment in Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ.
