Gary Scott Frisch's Obituary
Gary Scott Frisch, of Laurel Springs, NJ, passed away on May 30th, 2023. Born in Passaic, NJ and raised in Fair Lawn, he was 57 years old.
Cherished son of the late Robert and Hannah (nee Goldsmith) Frisch and beloved husband of Christina Daniels (nee Baun), Gary is survived by his loving children, Jillian Frisch and Jordan Frisch; step-children Harry Lane (Amanda), Kyle Lane and Olivia Daniels (Justin Mulford); brother Brian Frisch (Ann) and sister Arlene Sobel (Sid), as well as his precious grandchildren Ada Lane, Amelia Daniels, Stellah Blystone, Leviathan Mulford and Logan Mulford.
Gary will be remembered for his large personality, quick wit, and caring soul. He was an avid model-builder, F-14 Tomcat fan, Star Wars aficionado and collector, and huge NJ Devils Hockey Fan. Always ready for an adventure, the past few years saw Gary zip-lining through the jungles of Costa Rica, snorkeling in the Caribbean and off the coast of Mexico and jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. He enjoyed movies and television, hiking with his daughter, watching his son DJ, playing with his dog Zeus, enjoying time with his grandchildren, seeing Broadway shows with his wife and, most of all, spending leisurely time by the pool or in his hot tub. In addition to running his own public relations business for many years, Gary was a published author and was also living his dream of becoming a stand-up comedian, performing in clubs throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
