George Andrews Jr.'s Obituary
George R. Andrews, Jr., of Cherry Hill, formerly of Mount Laurel, passed away on June16, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, George was 75 years old.
George graduated from Moorestown High School and was a United States Army veteran. He was retired from a successful career in the transportation branch of the publishing industry, working for Random House and Simon & Schuster. He also attended Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.
George was the beloved husband of the late Barbara L. (nee Humes). Loving father of Matthew A. (Lori A. Irvine), Michael T. (Maria), and Jennifer Lynn Adams (Peter). Dear grandfather of Emma, Kate, Christopher, and James.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend George’s life celebration gathering at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main St., on Wednesday evening from 7 – 9 pm and Thursday morning from 10 – 11 am. His service will begin at 11 am, followed by interment in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be made to the Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
