George Herman Grahl III's Obituary
George Herman Grahl III, of Maple Shade, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on January 11, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late George and Helen (Schlattler) Grahl, he was 75 years old.
George was the beloved husband of Susan E. (O’Donnell) Grahl for 51 years; loving father of George C. Grahl (Tina), Helen Kumpel (Eric), and Dennis Grahl; cherished Grandpop and Pop Pop to Noah and Mason Kumpel, Claire, Brandon, and Charlotte Grahl; dear brother of Bernard “Bernie” Grahl (the late Linda Ann), and the late Daniel Grahl. George is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss him tremendously.
George led a simple life centered around his family. His happy place was sitting by the pool surrounded by family. He enjoyed playing board games such as Boggle and Sorry. He was ruthless playing those games and his specialty was ping pong. Most of all, George loved coaching and watching his kids and grandkids play sports. He was always their biggest fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, on Monday, January 17th from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. His funeral Mass will begin at 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Interment will be private.
