George A. Lowther Sr.'s Obituary
George A. Lowther, Sr. passed away peacefully on April 29, 2015 with his family at his side. Born in Columbus, NJ, George was 74 years old. George, along with his wife, Patricia, are the owners of Lowther’s Service Center in Delanco.
George enjoyed camping, NASCAR, WWE Wrestling but mostly George enjoyed spending time with his family.
Beloved husband of 53 years to Patricia A. (nee Heeter). Lowther. Loving father of Patricia A. (David) Lowther Smith, George A. Lowther, Jr., David J. (Johanna) Lowther and Barbara L. (Todd) Lowther Mettinger. Proud grandfather of Nicole, Lauren and Abagail. Brother of Gus(Janet) Lowther, Doris Horn, Marion (Bill) Williamson, the late Robert (Irene) Lowther, the late Ellis Lowther, the late June Waite, the late Katherine Lowther and the late Agnes Stanley. George is also survived by his very special nephew Bobby and a host of nieces and nephews. George’s fur babies: Angel, Dusty, Gidget and Noel will dearly miss him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend George’s Life Celebration and viewing Saturday, May 9th, from 9-11 a.m. at 233 Church Rd. Medford, NJ 08055. His Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Monument Cemetery, Beverly, NJ.
