George Acklen Stouff, on March 13th, at the age of 73 years, went home with his Lord and Savior Jesus after battling Leukemia and Lymphoma for several years. Born in Upper Darby Twp, PA, he graduated from Riverside High School, Th Read Obituary
George was a gifted teacher and my daughter was blessed to have him during her time at Kings. He was a wonderful godly leader for teaching and encouragement and he will be remembered so very fondly.
George was an amazing friend and brother in the Lord. I have so many fond memories. I first met him when we taught together at Delran Middle School in the early 90s. We coached several high school and middle school teams (soccer and baseball) at Delran through those years. We later worked together managing Sunnybrook Swim Club. We remained friends through out the years. Three special memories were: the summer of 1991 when our family spent a week with their family in Ocean City, NJ, George and Linda's attendance at our oldest son's (Luke) wedding ,and their visit to our home in Eagle, Idaho. He was like a brother to me and I will miss him dearly. He was an inspiration and a model of a godly man. I will cherish all the memories. To Linda and the family, we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Truly, Mr. Stouff was an amazing teacher and person. I have so many memories from all the years when my daughter was his student, player, stats assistant, missions team member and eventually, coworker. Anyone crossing paths with George was truly blessed and our family will always be thankful to be counted among those. To the Stouff family, you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time but also... thank you for all th years you graciously shared George with us!!
We met Mr. Stouff at Kings on our tour visiting the school. He asked my son that was going into 7th grade, if he liked Math and my son replied "no". He said when you start here at Kings you will love Math by the end of the school year. He made us laugh during that conversation and made us feel at home. He was one of the main reasons we decided to send our kids to Kings. And he was right, my son really enjoyed Math after having Mr. Stouff as his teacher. My daughter never got a chance to have him as a teacher but she adored him and his stories esp his soccer stories. Mr. Stouff will be greatly missed, but he sure left lasting memories! Sending our prayers, thoughts, and love to the entire family. May he rest in peace.
