George Edward Young III's Obituary
George Edward Young, III passed away on August 6, 2017, he was 88 years old. George was born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, but lived most of his married life as a resident of Moorestown, NJ. George was also a member of the Masons.
As a young man George served his country in the years following WWII as a sergeant in the United States Air Force at Lakenheath AFB in England and took part in the Berlin Air Lift dropping lifesaving supplies to the destitute people of Berlin.
George was the beloved husband to Miriam Lois (nee Roussin). Loving father of the (late) Mark Young, Michele Klesmer (Scott), and Scott Young (Robyne). George is survived by 7 grandchildren Stephen, Charles, Nicholas, Jessica(Justin), Sarah(Matt), Eryn, and Luke. George also had 2 great-grandchildren Sienna and Beckett
Relatives and friends are invited to attend George’s Memorial Visitation from 10am-12pm with his service starting at 12pm on Thursday August 10th at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. After the Memorial Service refreshments will be served at the home of Scott.
