Gerald S. Donahue, Jr.'s Obituary
Gerald S. Donahue, Jr., of Newark, DE, passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to Gerald S. Donahue, Sr., and Ann (nee Barr) Donahue. He was 70 years old. Gerry formerly lived in Burlington County, New Jersey.
Loving brother of Anne E. Armstrong, Sister Maureen Christi, R.S.M., the late Marguerite Carrigan, Genevieve D. Thiers, Kevin E. Donahue, and Stephen E. Donahue.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Following college, Gerry worked in law enforcement and was a member of the New Jersey Air National Guard for several years. After moving to Delaware he was employed by DuPont de Nemours, Inc., in corporate security for almost 25 years. He was a part time Instructor for the Burlington County Police Academy. At the time of his death he was employed as a security officer for Allied Universal Services.
Gerry enjoyed the subject of law enforcement and all things related to criminal investigative work.
