Gerald Francis Mulcahy's Obituary
Gerald Francis Mulcahy, of Riverton, passed away at his daughter’s home surrounded by his family on October 1, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles and Rose (Murphy) Mulcahy, he was 95 years old.
Gerald was the beloved husband of the late Florence Lorraine (Rowland) for over 60 years before her passing in 2015.
He was the loving father of Christopher J. (Regina) of Palmyra, Geraldine A. Camardo (Dennis) of Delran, Theresa B. LaCerra of Mount Laurel, Deborah R. Strom (Jack) of Delran, Patricia L. Wittenberger (Ed) of Avalon, and Ronald J. (Kathleen) of Cherry Hill.
Dear grandfather of 13, and great grandfather of 19.
Gerald will be remembered for his faithful service in the United States Marine Corps in World War II.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, October 8th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4th St. and Linden Ave., Riverton, Nj, from 10-12pm with his funeral mass beginning at 12pm followed by Military Honors. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerald’s name may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, ALZ.org
