Gerald T. Seitzinger's Obituary
Gerald T. Seitzinger, Sr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Samaritan Hospice in Vorhees, NJ surrounded by his family. Born in Minersville, PA to Clarence T. and Esther Seitzinger, Jerry was 88 years old. He was a resident of Marlton for the last 20 years and formerly lived in Cinnaminson for 37 years, with his wife and three sons.
Beloved husband of 64 years to Connie (Siville) Seitzinger. Loving father of
Gerald Jr., (Kim), Craig (Jean) and Rob (the late Julie Ann). Devoted Pop-Pop to Jillian (Brandon), Caroline (Nathan), Michael, Jordan, Anika, Micah, Peyton, Daniel, Ellery and Lokri. Brother of the late Donald Seitzinger (late wife Marilyn).
Brother-in law of the late Louis (Joann) Siville, Richard (Jane) Siville, Dennis (Elba) Siville, Sharon (Ed) Siville-Wallace. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. During his time living in Cinnaminson, he coached his sons through their Little League years in the Cinnaminson Police Athletic Baseball League, excelling at winning championships, but was focused more on teaching the players fundamentals, and served for several years as commissioner.
Jerry had an accomplished carrier in logistics management, holding positions at Conwed, Krylon, and Ekco Products. In his later years, Jerry became an accomplished golfer and worked at Indian Springs Golf Club, where he continued his legacy of teaching and encouraging players to enjoy the sport he loved. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf with the Village Green golf league, traveling with his wife Connie, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, October 22nd, from 10 -11 a.m. at Givnish Funeral Home, 398 East Main Street, Marlton, NJ. Jerry’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m., St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd, Marlton, NJ. Burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Rt. 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ.
