Geraldine J. Andrews' Obituary
Geraldine J. Andrews (nee Schmidt) of Marlton, NJ, passed away on June 16th, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born to the late Lester and Ethel (nee Novak) Schmidt on January 16th, 1942. Geraldine is the beloved sister of James Schmidt, Bill Schmidt, and Lynn Deitrich. Growing up, Geraldine attended High School as graduating class of 1960. As she came into her adulthood, Geraldine became the beloved mother of Tracey (Mark) Bertolino and Vicky (Doug) Buck. As a family, they spent quality time baking in the kitchen Geraldine’s famous pumpkin and Kolaczki’s, Black Friday shopping, lunch with grandkids, and spending quality time together.
Geraldine’s world became much brighter when she became the beloved Mom Mom of her grandchildren Jessica, Brandon, and Megan, and great-grandchildren Noah and Olivia. Geraldine loved being their Mom Mom. She spent as much time as she could with the little ones, spoiling them with gifts and supporting them through their school activities.
When Geraldine was not spending time with her family, she could be found driving around town in her 2010 Honda Civic that she maintained with 70,000 miles, gardening in her flower beds, or attending wine festivals with her daughters. Everyone will miss her genuine smile. She fiercely loved her cat Buddy, as well as the many Buddy’s that came before him. Professionally she worked for Reisman Pretzels in Pennsauken, NJ, then worked for Harlequin Dance Floors which granted her the ability to travel to Paris, France, and parts of England. Her love of travel extended to enjoying vacations in Hawaii and Las Vegas, NV.
Geraldine will be remembered fondly for her kind, compassionate personality, and her love of her family.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Geraldine’s name to Animal Welfare Association (AWA).
