Gerardine Mary Colgan's Obituary
Gerardine Mary Colgan (nee Sadler), of Moorestown, passed away on February 29th, 2024. She was 81 years old. Gerardine was born in Philadelphia on October 4th, 1942, to George Sadler and Helen Sadler (nee Benzenhafer). Devoted wife to Dennis J. Colgan. Loving mother to Dennis (Christa) and Lisa Antonucci (Lawrence). Cherished Grandmother to Keri McClellan (Anthony), Dennis Colgan VII, Alexis Antonucci (Alex), Nicole Colgan, and Michael Crossley. Cherish Great Grandmother to Penelope McClellan. Loving sister to Helen Ercolani (Jack). Cherished Aunt to Melissa Feeley (Mathew), and John Ercolani III (Jillian), and their children Christan Feeley, Mia Ercolani, Madison Feeley, Luke Feeley, Jack Ercolani, and Savanna Ercolani.
A graduate of Little Flower High School in Philadelphia, Gerardine was known for her kindness to others, her love of family, and her generous heart. She loved all animals, but especially her dogs, and always had a beloved pet by her side. Her life was full of exciting travel, wonderful memories, and truly great friends. Her grace and elegance in life were second to none.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday evening, March 7th, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Riverton. Located at 103 4th Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. There will be another viewing the following morning, Friday March 8th, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. also at Sacred Heart Church. Following the viewing Friday morning there will be a Funeral Mass Beginning at 11 a.m. at church. Burial will take place after mass at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. Located at 1300 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ, 08077.
