Gertrude M Cooney's Obituary
Gertrude “Gert” M. Cooney, 95, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2022. Loving mother to Paula Guarracino. Dear grandmother to Danele, John (Liz), and Patrick. Great grandmother to Abrielle. Sister to George Zampier (Patricia), Katherine Taglianetti, the late Karl Zampier and the late Elsie Finnegan. Former mother in law to John Guarracino (Susan).
Gertrude spent many years as a telephone supervisor at AT&T in Philadelphia. She was well-traveled, and would volunteer with the AT&T Pioneers and Operation Santa Claus. She would frequently be found teaching exercise classes at the Cinnaminson Community Center, bowling at many of the local alleys, and completing puzzles at the Cinnaminson Library. She will be remembered by her strong will, and her love of her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild.
